Hi

I am interested to use e-junkies with Authorize.net. I am based in the UK. I contacted authorise.net and they have referred me to Cybersource as a reseller that might be able to supply services such as merchant account and gateway for UK customers. Before checking with them, I like to know if you support Cybersource.

As another questions, if a reseller supports authorize.net, does this mean we can use their services and use e-junkies to connect to them.

I am slightly new to this topic, so I really appreciate your help

Thanks

E-junkie does support Authorize.Net as a merchant gateway for checkout payments, so you can use that with any bank's merchant account that supports Authorize.Net. You may wish to read this page for more details on the distinctions between various checkout options we support:

I'm not clear what you mean about "resellers" supporting Authorize.Net...?

Thanks Tyson for your advice.

As I understand Authorize.net provides gateway services and we would then need to have a "merchant account". Since we are in UK, we cant directly use Authorize.net services as told by their customer services. Let me quote what they told us in case this helps:

"Thank you for your interest in Authorize.Net. At this time, we are only able to offer our services to U.S. based businesses, or merchants who have U.S. based merchant accounts.

Our parent company, Cybersource, provides merchant services and payment gateway services for merchants outside the United States. Please contact Cybersource Sales at 888-330-2300 or submit an inquiry online at http://www.cybersource.com/contactus/ for more details."

My questions is, can I use Cybersource services to connect with you? I thought it is much more effective if I ask you if you support Cybersource, than for me to ask Cybersourse if they support e-junkies.

I suppose Cybersource uses Authorize.net for gateway but I can be wrong.

I also saw a guide mentioned you and Cybersource along with Authorize.net as a possible combination. The guide is here: http://creatingwebsuccess.com/page/2/

Thanks

E-junkie is pre-integrated specifically with Authorize.Net. If Cybersource can provide you with a Login ID and Transaction Key that will "just work" with our existing Authorize.Net integration, that might work, but this would be entirely up to you to get working and troubleshoot any problems.

If you are simply looking for a solution to accept direct card-based payments, then you might wish to consider using PayPal's "Website Payments Pro" service, which does serve merchants in the UK and is already integrated with our service. This combines the functions of a merchant gateway and merchant account together with regular PayPal account-based payments in a single, all-in-one payment solution. Please see our PayPal Pro integration procedure here:

Thanks for the comments. I am aware of paypal pro and have been in the process of applying for them as well. I will contact Cybersource to see how their system works.
