Hi,

Maybe an old issue but is obviously unsolved and is happening to me now. Buyers are not receiving my template product thank you email message containing the codes for downloading. As far as I can see things are ok on this side. I can send free download links no problem, but the automated thank you emails has stop working. This problem is causing quite a few complaints from customers. Please help on this.

Hello,



I looked into your account and I see that you've done several test orders and links over the past few days. I did a test with one of those products myself and the email arrived properly in my inbox a few seconds later. If you aren't seeing copies from your tests you may want to be sure that your email is not filtering them out for any reason. Everything I've looked at from your recent products and transactions has the right email settings so things should be fine otherwise. If you do get any more complaints from buyers about not receiving emails please let us know the transaction ID so that we can investigate further.

Thank you so much for support and quick answer. Yes, in the last few days I did a lot of test orders and free downloads test trying to figure out what was wrong. The thing that puzzles me is that automated thank you emails works ok with some of my downloadable products but they do not work at all with others !!!



The following downloadables as far as I can see they are properly configured but automated emails still do not work. Please check them out.

Currently all of those products do have a thank-you email enabled and properly set up, although your Email Message template for "Tasación de piano" (#1429136) is missing the [%download_link%] template tag where the buyer's link should be inserted.



I issued myself a free test link for all of those products you listed, and the thank-you emails for all of them arrived as expected, so that confirms everything at our end is working as it should. If a buyer does not receive their email, please ask them to check their Spam folder and mark the message as Not Spam if they find it there. Also bear in mind the general email-delivery issues we explain in the last 3 paragraphs here:

Yes, you are absolutly right. I have done a new set of tests using new buyers email addresses and the thank-you emails are there as they should. I will have to carry on trying to debug the problem meself, but something is sure, the problem is not at your end.



I suspect the problem is at Yahoo email service. I use Yahoo email Plus, and most of my website email addresses are forwarded there. I think some of the emails are lost without any apparent reason. By the way, is not the first time I have issues with this company. I guess it is time to move to a more reliable email service provider.
