When I select other products to promote on my download page after someone buys an e-book the other product doesn't seem to show up on the Download page for the product just purchased. I send a free download link to test and it is not there to check, how can I confirm this or correct ?

That feature has been disabled and will be removed entirely from our new Admin panel coming soon. It was rather clumsy in practice, as it only offered cross-promo products for purchase after the buyer had already completed their initial purchase, and the cross-promos only linked to those products' listings in an E-junkie Shop on our site (if the seller had posted such), rather than acting as direct purchase buttons or linking to sales pages on the seller's site.
That said, you can customize your own thank-you/download pages to add custom HTML for whatever cross-promo links you wish; these could be links to sales pages on your site and/or even actual Add to Cart or Buy Now button codes.
