Common Thank You Email

In the common thank you email can tags i.e. [%txn_id%] or [%first_name%] be used within the subject line or is it restricted to the body text only?

The subject line for the Common Thank You Email can only take the [%business_name%] tag, and product emails can use the [%item_name%] tag, but otherwise all other tags need to be used in the body of the message and not the subject.
