Clcking on continue shopping clears the cart

I'm just using this for the first time, and set up a quick demo on my local box:





settings are:

site url: http://127.0.0.1/gpas

continue shopping url: http://127.0.0.1/gpas

currency GBP



I can set up a product, and add to cart, and the product + shipping fee shows correctly. I can even click on paypal and follow through payment. But if I just click on "continue shopping" and then view cart again, the cart is empty.



I'm using wordpress 3.0 and the fat free plugin.



Any help would be greatly appreciated.

For our cart to work correctly you need to have it setup on a URL with a domain name. By testing the cart on a page with an IP address only you are going to see problems.

thanks, i didn't know what was wrong but i did notice it worked when i copied my code onto my hosting provider, so that figures.

Basically, we track each buyer's cart contents by setting a cookie in their browser, and browsers can only set cookies for specific domain names; an IP-based URL has no domain name, so we can't set a cookie to track cart instances in that case. :^)
