The google buy buttons only allow a quantity of 1. I need the customer to be able to type in more than quantity of 1. I just want to be able to offer my customers the ability to change the quantity column to input values 2 or 3 or up to 100 units. What do I do?

This is surely a banal question but I have so far been unable to find the solution. My product line shows a QTY of 0 for each product. I have looked several times and do not see a place to put in a quantity...I do have the inventory control box checked. Should I uncheck it?

If you don't wish to limit your product's online sales to available inventory in stock, you can just edit the product to disable Inventory Control, then click Next until you can Submit changes.

If you DO wish to limit sales to available inventory, edit the product and keep Inventory Control enabled, then click Next until you find the "Limit product sales to" field, where you would enter the quantity of units you have in stock, then click Next until you can Submit changes.

I, too, am having the same trouble with not being able to change the quantities in my shopping cart. I use google checkout only as I find paypal to be a pain.

I sell products with Variants that affect the price - tshirts with different sizes and colors - but I print them as they are ordered so there is no Inventory control necessary. However, I have tried to get Quantity change functionality with the Inventory Control checkbox UNchecked, and I have tried it with the Inventory Control button Checked and with an in-stock quantity of 1000. Still, I am unable to change the quantities in my shopping cart. What's the workaround?
