TysonPlease reply with your Web site page URL where you are using our cart buttons, so we can see what might be going on there.

I can't know for sure without seeing your page, but bear in mind that you cannot combine E-junkie Cart settings with FatFreeCart buttons -- although both carts look similar, they are completely separate and unrelated systems.

With E-junkie Cart, you can define a Cart Discount that would automatically take 100% off the Shipping Total when the Minimum Order Total is at least $150.

I have defined my Cart Discount.

This is my Cart Discount Settings:

Discount name: Free Shipping with nett purchase of $150 and above

Discount code: Left blank for discount to get applied automatically

Discount: % 100

Applies to: Shipping

Minimum Order Amount: 150.00

Minimum Order in cart: 0

Discount code expires on: 2080-12-31 23:59:59

Maximum use count: 0

I tested it out and make my order till $200++. But the Cart discount on the Shipping doesn't reflect on the final order or at checkout. The flat shipping rate is still being charged ($5).

Can you help me check? My URLs for your review are the same URL links which i have given you in my previous message sent to you.

Thanks!

Hm, this is strange! Everything appears to be set up correctly, but your shipping is not actually getting discounted when the order is above 150.00, just as you have said.

I will have to ask Development to look into this and figure out what is going on here. Sorry for the inconvenience!

1 year later

I was having the same problem with my "spend $75 and get free shipping" discount code.

My test page is here: http://www.teaoh.com/?p=23 and it only works if I leave the discount code blank. What am I missing?

The same page is also not allowing me to change the Quantity of any one item to anything other than 1.

There can be only one cart-wide discount (configured for All Cart Items) applied to a cart at a time, so if an automatic no-code discount for All Cart Items is applied to the buyer's order (which is shown in the cart as "current promotion"), and then they enter a code for another All Cart Items discount, that will override the automatic discount.

Each item in the cart can have its own, product-specific discount applied in addition to any cart-wide discount, so you might consider that as an alternative to the discount code you're using. You can even create a series of item-specific discounts that all use the same discount code, so when the buyer enters that code, that will apply to all items in the cart which have a matching discount code defined. This help page explains more about our discount settings:

To edit quantity, each product must have its "Let buyer edit quantity" setting enabled. If you also have Inventory Control enabled for any product, buyers will be unable to edit their order quantity any higher than your current available stock for that item. E.g., if your current stock is 1 for a product with Inventory Control, buyers can enter whatever they want for that item's quantity in their cart, but they will find their cart updates to show only qty=1 for that item.
