Hi Folks,

This isn't specifically an e-junkie problem.

It seems IE and Chrome disable our e-junkie cart script when it blocks the unsecured social links in our cart section. Even after accepting the unsecured content, the cart will not work, not even the "browser version" of EJ cart (vs the lightbox cart) opens. This wasn't a significant problem until recently.

FYI within Safari and FF the cart functions fine, (even the unsecure external social links work).

Any wisdom?

That's odd, I've not heard of this problem on other sites before. Could you send us a link to your sales page so that we can test it in those browsers ourselves?

Yes. http://gsmusic.com/music/index-girlscout_music.html

I just retested this issue in Chrome, there is the customary warning banner across top of window requiring allow or not,

if I blocked unsecure content, e-junkie script is disabled as a result. No lightbox cart. All scripts are disabled. Even in-page, self-hosted scripts.

I can get a browser cart by right clicking on product and open in new tab, but obviously this is not a solution, meant only as a detail, clue.

The real challenge here is that e-junkie is also disabled when customer chooses to block unsecure content. The cart should still function.

Searching through Chrome security options, there is nothing that seems relative.

Javascript is enabled (by default).

Thanks

Just noticed this same problem yesterday. Not sure how long it has been like this. Worked fine previously.

dw27 - I've tested the site with the current version of IE and Chrome and had no problems, what were the versions you were using?

breener - what is the address for your site, and what browsers are you having trouble with?

There's no wide case problems out there, but certain browsers can be a little touchy. Generally, problems that occur in one browser but not another can be traced to things like javascript conflicts with other scripts on the pages or linebreaks in the button code inside your page's HTML. We can help track those issues down but we need to examine the code on your page to find where the problems might be.

I didn't notice any problems specific to IE, but our cart does require a named domain to function properly. Without a named domain our cart cannot remember anything that has been added to it, so it is not possible to add more than one product into the cart on your site right now.

without me sounding stupid, what do I need to do to have a named domain? I have multiple items in the cart seems using the 2nd link.

You'll need to register a domain name for your site, an URL using a numeric address won't be sufficient for our cart to function.

OK, you mean sharingyoga.com vs. the numbers. I'll check with bluehost. thanks.
