Hi, I am a tech/coding novice but have figured out how to implement e-junkie. I have a product to sell that is both personalized (say, like a TShirt), and, is bought for someone else.

I have figured out how to capture the personalized name in the order-capture field of e-junkie's Buy button. Now, I'd also like to give buyer a chance to include the Recipient's Shipping Address, so that info also travels along with the order into PayPal's Web Payment Standard that I'm using.

Can anyone help point me in the direction of what I need? It seems like I can do it in the same manner I am capturing Recipient's Name, but am getting stuck. Thanks

FYI you can see my in progress page here: www.girlsworld.com.au/g2/order.html

thanks everyone

Just make sure you enable Shipping/Buyer's Address in the settings of each product that should trigger collection of the buyer's address during checkout.

Since checkouts occur on PayPal's site in your case, you may want to look over your PayPal account's Website Payment Preferences to make sure you are not requiring a Confirmed address. That way, buyers could provide any address they wish, rather than being limited to their credit/debit card billing addresses.

Thanks for response, but just to ensure I'm clear:

I'm looking to capture, then append/attach TWO addresses per order:

1) The buyer's billing address and their name

2) and the "Recipient's" name and ship-to address, for whom the Buyer has purchased the personalised gift.

I'll have another look at settings, but it seems I can only get one address, the Buyer's Billing Address, configured in the settings?

thanks again

For PayPal Standard or PayPal Pro Express Checkouts, we can only obtain whatever Shipping Address the buyer provides.

For Authorize.Net and I think also PayPal Pro Direct Payment checkouts we can log the Billing and Shipping address; however, PayPal Pro requires you to offer Express Checkout as a payment option, so if you want to reliably obtain both Billing AND Shipping addresses, you'd probably want to use E-junkie with Authorize.Net alone:
