I am selling a product that requires the customer to specify a specific color of picture frame. Also I need to gather other information as far as dates and other pertinent info in order to complete an engraved plaque. HELP!

This help page explains our Variations and Variants settings, which you can use to offer a selection of product options (e.g. size, color, style, etc.) and/or text fields for the buyer to fill in:

Note that the buyer's name, email address, and shipping address (if you enable that in the product settings) will be collected automatically at checkout, so there is no need to request that information separately before checkout.
