You need to join an affiliate program by clicking the seller's sign-up link, then that seller's name will appear in your Select Merchant menu where you can Get Affiliate Codes for that seller's affiliate program.

This help page explains the basic functions of using the E-junkie affiliate system as an affiliate:

It is each seller's responsibility to provide support to their own affiliates. E-junkie is just an automated software service that thousands of merchants (sellers) use to manage their own Affiliate program independently, so we have no way of knowing what instructions they may want you to follow or how they choose to administer their program using our software.

Thanks for that, actually I am a seller. And I am trying to test the system for my own product.

I have set up my product, but i still can't select a merchant. (If perhaps I could, i'm guessing the "get affiliate code" button would work?) is there a way to test this before i send it out to people?

Just click your own affiliate sign-up link to join your own affiliate program. You can just use your existing E-junkie account login to join, and use the Affiliates and Sellers tabs at the top of our site to switch which "mode" your Admin is in. Once you have joined, you should see yourself listed in the Select Merchant menu where you can Get Affiliate Codes and see what your affiliates would see when joining your program.

If you had previously joined your own program and then removed yourself via Seller Admin > View/Edit Affiliates, in that case you will be unable to rejoin your program, as deleting an affiliate from your program effectively bans them from rejoining. We can ask Development to un-ban you from your program, so you can rejoin again.

HI Tyson--

thank you for this. I haven't been able to join my own affiliate program. I used my own link, I'm logged in, I can edit my affiliate details, but when i get to select merchant, there is no merchant in the dropdown box. So i can't get the Affiliate code. I have not removed myself because i haven't been able to join.

I suspected it was just me, so i put it out to my prospective affiliates and 2 have joined, so i know it works. But i don't know why i can't test it.

any thoughts?

thanks again.

Holly

Hm, we can ask Development to unban you from your program, but our Lead Developer is out of town currently, so he may not be able to get to that promptly.

A quicker alternative may be for you to simply register a dummy login for E-junkie that you can join to your affiliate program. Just log out of Seller Admin, click your sign-up link which will take you to the E-junkie login/registration screen, then instead of logging into your existing account, use another email address you may have to register a new account.
