I would like to offer a chapter of my paperback book (e-book format) and an Excel worksheet to people who have purchased the paperback version of my book. I would like to offer this to them free as bonuses for purchasing the paperback version of the book. These same items may also be for sale on e-junkie. How do I go about verifying that they have actually bought the book and then get them these materials at no extra charge? Can this be done using e-junkie?

Thanks,

Doug

I would suggest using our bundle product feature. This way when the person purchases the printed copy of your book, they will also be given access to the download links for the other products. Here is a link to our bundle product feature help page:

I'm sorry - I didn't make myself clear. I don't intend on offering the printed version thru e-junkie. I was wondering if there was a way to offer these bonus items if the person bought the book on Amazon or B&N.

For example, I saw a website that required the Amazon order # before given a link to a download page.

Or, could a link to the download page be given in the text of the printed book and then somehow the person who purchased the printed book be able to download the bonus items at no charge?

Thanks,

Doug

Sorry, about that. If the books are not already at the printers then you can created a discount in E-junkie that can be added to the book and the buyer can go to your site, add the two other products to the shopping cart and type in the discount code. If you have the book printed already, or the book file is already at a print on demand publisher, then you would have to manually setup or send the buyers the download link once they provide proof that they purchased your printed book.
