Hey CommerceJunkie,
Welcome to the E-Junkie forums. We all love e-junkie for it's price and simplicity, but there's a dark side to e-junkie.
They left their fiery startup development phase long ago, and from what we can see, current development is about as busy as a ghost town.
Bitcoin integration is an 8 hour job for the right person. And e-Junkie would make it straight to the headlines for incorporating bitcoin payments. Unfortunately, they don't have that person, and there's nobody to find that person on the e-junkie team. People here have been begging for bitcoin, amazon payments, and a non-flash back-end. Alas, it's still the same e-junkie we've all been using for the past five years with almost no changes.
BTW, E-JunkieMonster, Bitcoin is both a currency, and a transfer protocol. If you wanted to, you could integrate payments directly without the use of bitpay or coinbase. But using bitpay/coinbase services would allow merchants to avoid exchange risk.
