I saw posts dating back to this topic circa 2008-2011. Are there any new plans/updates of integrating with Amazon Payments?

In light of reports from merchants about their unsatisfactory experiences with Amazon Payments, that's earned a fairly low priority among new payment services we may consider integrating with, once our new Admin panel is finally completed; right now, the leading contender for a new payment service would be Stripe, and this page lists the other payment services we currently already support:
