Affiliate tracking and cookies

Hi,

It seems as if affiliate sales are tracked with cookies. I cleared my cookies, and now have lost the affiliate tracking in my testing. My question is if someone registers through an affiliate for a free preview call, and then buys the full program at a different computer, there will be no way of connecting that purchase to the affiliate. Is that correct?

That would be correct. If a buyer goes to your site and gets your free preview product and then uses a different computer or a different web browser, the affiliate would not get credit for the sale.
