I am having troubles with adding shipping for the three different regions. Everytime I add on Canada and International after I put in the US it atomatically changes the shipping rate for the US to the last added. Is there a way to fix this? I have been trying for hours and cannot come up with a solution.

This is a something you can set up by creating multiple shipping rules, a general All Countries rule for your International rate, and then country specific rules for the US and Canada which would automatically override the more general All Countries rule for buyers in those specific countries.

However, I took a look at your account settings and it appears that you've selected the United States as your only valid shipping destination, so your cart isn't going to offer anything but the US until you fix that.

You can declare valid shipping destinations on the first page of Seller Admin > Edit E-junkie Cart Shipping Settings. Either unselect the US from that list (no selection would default to all countries) or select all of the countries you are willing to ship to from the list.

I have tried everything and cannot get this to work. I have followed the directions on the site too and can't get it to work. Any suggestions?

Can you start by telling us how you currently have your shipping rules setup?

Currently I have it setup for US only. The merchandise that I want to be able to ship is setup to collect the customers mailing address and to ship as a regular envelope. In the shipping menu I have the shipping rate for US under the regular envelope option as 4.95.

What I would like to do is set up shipping for US @ 4.95, canada @ 10.95 and all other countries as 11.95. Everytime I choose all the countires to be listed and add shipping rules it automatically use the price that is under regular envelope.

Thank you for sending in that information. I also took a look at your shipping settings in your account. Here are the steps you will want to take to setup your shipping:

1) Go to Seller Admin>Edit E-junkie Shipping Settings;

2) Enter in your five digit zip code at the top left;

3) On the left side you currently only have the United States selected. Either select other countries you want to ship to while holding the control key or just re-select United States to allow all countries;

4) On the right side replace the 4.95 for regular envelope with 0.00;

5) Click Next to go to the shipping rules page;

6) At the top of the page use the delete button to delete the USPS priority shipping rule you have created;

7) Use the Shipping Rate Calculator drop down menu and select Flat;

8) Enter 11.95 in the amount field;

9) Click Submit to save this shipping rule;

10) Once again select Flat in the Shipping Rate Calculator drop down;

11) Enter in 10.95 for the amount;

12) Use the Country drop down to select Canada;

13) Click Submit to save the changes;

14) Use the Shipping Rate Calculator drop down menu to select Flat;

15) Enter 4.95 in the Amount field;

16) Use the Country drop down to select United States;

17) Click Submit to save the shipping rule

We have United States selected as the only shipping destination, however a Canadian somehow placed an order today with a Canadian address.

Please advise.

Our Shipping Destinations setting can only block the countries available for the buyer to select in our cart before checkout; unfortunately, we have no control over what the buyer may do on PayPal's checkout site.

However, you can block non-US buyers and/or non-US shipping addresses in your PayPal account settings. Log into PayPal and go to My Account (or the person-silhouette icon in the new PayPal Business interface) > Profile > My Selling Tools > Block Payments > Block payments from users who: Have non-U.S. PayPal accounts and/or Block non-U.S. shipping addresses, then scroll down and click Save to apply changes.

Thank you!

One more question. How do we add a second email notification address?

If you're asking about Sale Notification emails, those only get sent to your Login Email address; however, you can use the Multiple Emails method of our Integration feature to have the raw order details sent to any email address for every order and/or just when specific product(s) get purchased -- see the section on Multiple Emails here for details:

Once you add the shipping rules as described above, will they be applied to only to products that are physical? How I can be sure these rules don't get accidentally applied to my digital products?

I'm having a challenge setting flat shipping rates. I'd like to set one flat rate for the US, one for Canada, and one for everywhere else.

I have read all the shipping instructions multiple times, and have experimented with dozens of different settings. I cannot get the shipping to appear when I add the product to the cart.

I'd like to set one flat rate for the US (6.50), one for Canada ($9.50), and one for everywhere else ($15.10).

On my product page I did not select the box to limit destinations.

I have tried set up shipping rules for each destination. I have experimented with inputting values for Cost, for Weight, for Cost and Weight, and for no values.

I have experimented with Order Size variables.

I have experimented with variables on the actual product page, including changing the Weight and Capacity.

I could really use some help with the exact settings and steps to create a flat-rate shipping charge.

This is from one of the forum posts, but the instructions must match an old admin page, rather than the current configuration.

Excellent answer from Support (and fast, too!). My problem with setting a flat rate for shipping was not realizing it was an option under the Calculation Method on the Shipping page.

Here are the instructions for setting flat rate shipping to different countries from Support:

These flat rates can be created with Shipping Rules, and any other settings can be left alone. Here's a set of instructions based on our new interface that will create these rates:

First, mark the necessary products as shippable. Go to Seller Admin > View/Edit/Delete Products:

Select an existing shippable product of yours and click Edit;

If Shipping & Buyer's Address is not checked there, tick that box;

This will reveal several shipping options, which you can safely ignore. They aren't necessary for flat rate shipping:

  • Weight:
  • Package type:
  • Capacity:

Click Submit to save settings;

Repeat this for all your tangible goods;

When adding new shippable products, remember to enable Shipping & Buyer's Address.

Next, go to Seller Admin > Shipping Calculations and set up the following:

Shipping Origin: select your country (and enter your ZIP code if you're in the US);

Limit Shipping Destinations: if you will only ship to certain countries, tick this box and select them in the list that will appear. This determines which countries can be selected in the cart;

Leave all other settings blank or 0.00;

Scroll down to the Your Shipping Rules menu, select and Delete any Rules you may have saved there.

Set up your first Shipping Rule for the US in the New Shipping Rules section below, using only these settings. You can ignore any not mentioned:

Calculation Method: Flat Rate per Order

Shipping Amount: 6.50

Destination Country: Select United States

Click Add Rule.

A second rule will set up shipping to Canada at a different rate:

Calculation Method: Flat Rate per Order

Shipping Amount: 9.50

Destination Country: Canada;

Click Add Rule.

A third rule will cover all other countries:

Calculation Method: Flat Rate per Order

Shipping Amount: 15.10

Destination Country: Select "All Countries" which will work as "all other countries" that aren't covered by the two previous rules;

Click Add Rule;

Click Back to Admin, and you're done!

Glad to hear you got it sorted out, and kind of you to share our email reply here for others' benefit. :^)
