Hi guys,

I'm considering joining e-junkie, selling digital images and I have one question...

Is it possible to add just one buy button to my website, then would my customer be able to find the image they want to buy using the name of the file wherever it is stored online?

The reason i'm asking is i'm planning to upload about 100 images everyday so instead off adding 100 "buy now" buttons, i just add one and they can find the image they want with the"code" or "name" of the image.

I'm using my website 1http://carlosalberto.co.uk/Portfolio/index.html1 more as a "shop window" where they can see their image, then click the "buy button" and find their image.

Or am i dreaming and i have to add 100 "buy now" buttons to each file?

Thanks for any help.

Carlos

Hello Carlos,

No matter what you do you're going to have to create a product link for each separate product in order to tell our system what specific file needs to be transmitted to the buyer.

Making some sort of custom interface that allows the buyer to select a specific image from a menu isn't going to get you around that, unfortunately, it will just entail more work as you add another layer on top of the cart buttons we already provide.

There's still some merit to the idea, it might make for an easier shopping experience for your buyers and bring in more sales, but you would probably need to hire an independent developer to program your website to work with our cart in that way.
