When I add the code for ADD TO CART and VIEW CART, users get a lightbox that does not show anything except "Loading..."

I've tried the standard code as well as the WP plugin.

Many thanks,

Andrea

Hi Andrea,

Could you give us a link to the page where you are testing our buttons? I checked your site but I couldn't find any of our buttons there.

Thanks so much for looking into this.

The page I am testing is at:

ecsimplified.com/ejunkie/

The first versions are html, but I'd like to use your recommended buttons for optimal customer experience.

Also, in Safari only, After I test the html buttons, I am also seeing a POPUP that says: from WWW.EJUNKIE.COM "If the information you have provided looks correct, proceed with Free Checkout?" With the ejunkie POPUP, it doesn't have the seamless experience I'm hoping to achieve.

Your help is greatly appreciated!

Hmm...

Well, the links within all of our buttons have been replaced by something else there, such as http://ecsimplified.com/gear/Addto_Cart/248/ or http://ecsimplified.com/gear/Addto_Cart/250/

Those URLS redirect to our product URLs when accessed directly, so that appears to be why the non-Javascript buttons end up working fine while the Javascript versions get stuck in an endless loading screen.

We can't guarantee our buttons will work properly when they've been so heavily modified. Whatever purpose your edits have, it looks like you will only be able to use them with the non-Javascript versions of our cart buttons. If you want the lightbox that comes with the Javascript enabled buttons you will have to scrap those modifications that are replacing our product URLs with something else.

That helped! It was a simple fix - just turn off link cloaking for external sites.

Hoever, I am also seeing a POPUP that says: from WWW.EJUNKIE.COM "If the information you have provided looks correct, proceed with Free Checkout?" With the ejunkie POPUP, it doesn't have the seamless experience I'm hoping to achieve.

The user test group feels like it's a spammy pop up that could prevent sales - how do i turn that off or change the url it mentions to my own?

If you're just testing your cart with Free Checkout, that won't appear once you set normal prices for your products. The Free Checkout screen, and the popup asking buyers to confirm they've entered complete info on that screen, only appears when the buyer's cart total is 0.00.
