I added an Add to Cart in a greybox popup, and when the user clicks it, it opens up another page. Is there a way for it to stay within the pop-up?

Make sure every page that has any Add to Cart buttons also has at least one block of your View Cart code as well, as the latter is what generates the nice cart overlay. :^)
You do not need to add any other overlay-popup code such as a greybox/lightbox/etc. yourself for our cart, as our View Cart already includes the necessary programming for the overlay.
