I have tried several ways and looked at different posts to make this work to no avail. I have been successful with adding items not using the javascript but I really would like to get the window overlay feature to work instead of taking users to a new page. I'm thinking it has something to do with the javascript within the CMS. Any help would be appreciated. Heres the link to the page. www.shoprockababy.com/shop
The page layout seems off, but I see that the cart is working indeed.
I got the cart to work as a link not as a form. It seems that the cms I'm using has a parser that removes the form tags. I can use this as a workaround but I can't have variants as size, color etc. unless there is a workaround for the form to do this.
If your CMS is not letting you post forms, you can break down the code into individual buttons (one button for each combination) .. but if you have a lot of variants, this might not be a practical solution.
We will soon be posting a tutorial to our site on how to convert variant dropdown-menus into a series of regular-link buttons. I have sent Mikey a link to my work-in-progress/warts'n'all draft of that tutorial, but just wanted to let anyone else following this thread know that the tutorial should be ready for primetime and posted publicly to our site soon. :^)
