Access cart information to render in HTML

Hello



Does anyone know if it's possible to access information from the cart, to render it in the HTML of the pages on my site?



Ultimately, I want to see if it's possible to get the text for a product variant that the user enters to display.



Happy doing a bit of Javascript, if someone can shine a guiding light! Equally happy with HTML/PHP...



(The site is a Joomla-run site, if it matters, but quite happy doing direct coding on template overrides that I use..)

At present we don't really have a way to do quite what you describe, though we are planning to build support for a JSON-style API that developers could use to obtain cart parameter values for custom needs.
