A bit stuck on shipping options

Hi,



I need a little help with shipping, I've almost got it, I'm just stuck at the last hurdle.



OK, so I need the following settings:



Shipping from the UK to the UK is totally free.



I set this as flat rate UK £0.00, and that was fine.



Now for everywhere else, I'd like to have £3.25 for the first item and £0.25 for each additional item.



I can't seem to get this to work. The best I came up with was a flat rate of £3.00 with the making one of the box sizes £0.25 which worked out the calculation fine, but then for the UK it was adding the £0.25 on to the free shipping.



So can any one tell me what the settings would be:



UK to UK: FREE

UK to every where else: £3.25 first item, then £0.25 each additional item

Changed the international to flat rate, seems to have done the trick.

Charging £3.25 for the first item and £0.25 for each additional item for international orders would be possible... but only if you were not also waiving shipping for domestic orders. The problem is that one of the necessary steps to create such a shipping rate cannot be set to distinguish between domestic or international orders.



Basically it would require what you had done originally (which charged £0.25 per item on domestic orders as well) or it would require setting a base handling charge of £3.00 and adding a £0.25 per unit shipping rule on top of that. That would still charge a bit for domestic orders as well.



The only way to have free domestic shipping and a scaling per item rate for international shipping would be if your international rate was consistent... something like £1.00 per item across the board.
