Hi, when I go to my website and click the credit card payment option, I can fill in all my info., but when I click "charge my card for 4.50", I get a 10501 invalid configuration. This transaction cannot be processed due to a invalid merchant configuration error. How come this is happening. Thank you for your time,

It means you have opted to use PayPal Pro in E-junkie Seller Admin > Cart Settings but have not accepted the "Pro" agreement in your PayPal account.

9 months later

i got this error too. where is the "pro" agreement in paypal?

That error message typically means you still need to accept the "PayPal Website Payment Pro" agreement in your PayPal account after your have applied and been approved for PayPal Pro.

If you have already done this, but you only see approval for Virtual Terminal (and nothing about PayPal Pro) listed in your PayPal Pro account's "Get Started" summary screen, then PayPal may have activated Virtual Terminal but missed activating your actual PayPal Pro checkout service (it happens sometimes); in this case, contact PayPal to inform them that you approved the Pro agreement and got Virtual Terminal activated but are still waiting for your Pro checkout service to be activated.
