We are nearly ready to upload our digital products (pdfs) and now are thinking about promotion.



We would like to offer free products to certain businesses who we want to know about us and what we offer.



We could just send the product to businesses ourselves, but would like to use pdf stamping to discourage the free distribution of our product.



Can we use discount codes to offer 100% discounts to businesses, while still using pdf stamping?



Would they still have to provide payment information if the product was free to them?

If you set up PDF Stamping for your .pdf download products, you can just use "Send free download link" in your Seller Admin to send free copies to select recipients individually, which would engage the PDF Stamper just the same as a purchased download.



If you prefer to have recipients place an actual order through your shopping cart to obtain a free download, you can distribute discount codes that you'd set up to apply either a 100% discount on All Cart Items, or a product-specific discount for the full price of the product:

If a discount reduces the buyer's cart total to 0.00, that would enable a Free Checkout button in their cart:
