I just signed up for an e-junkie account and implemented your cart on a landing page selling ebooks. Everything seems to work ok except that when I tested the payment as a customer I was never directed to the download page. I'm stuck on the "Your payment is currently pending. Your order will be processed after the payment is complete." How can I use this platform if customers are going to wait so long for their downloads? The idea of selling digital downloads is to be hands-off not have to apologise, troubleshoot and manually send files customers. And please I don't want to hear this excuse that you didn't receive notification of a completed payment from Paypal. Everyone who has experience with Paypal for business knows their payment processing system is so often slow and useless. You should give sellers the option to allow customers to access the product BEFORE the payment has been 100% confirmed. 99 times out of 100, the payment will go through anyway. Let us take the risk.

UPDATE: The payment is in my paypal account as "Unclaimed". Yes, I've read your support page on the unclaimed payment issue, but it doesn't address the issue of the seller seeing an unclaimed payment.

UPDATE 2: I changed the paypal email in ejunkie back to my primary address, I tried paying with both credit card and with my personal paypal a/c but nothing changes. The payments are all 'unclaimed'

UPDATE 3: Problem solved. After trial and error I found a setting in Paypal: Payment Receiving Preferences. If you are selling in a foreign currency other than USD, you need to check "Yes, accept and convert to ..." as it seems this is not the default setting. Shame that stupid Paypal does not provide any clarification on why a payment is "unclaimed".

Hello,

Glad to hear you were able to find the cause of the problem in your PayPal account. To address your request to have us deliver orders before payments are confirmed that is something you have the ability to change if you are willing to take the risk.

If you go to Seller Admin > Edit Payment Preferences you can uncheck the box which reads "Wait for pending payments" and then our system will deliver orders as soon as we get notice of a pending payment as opposed to a completed payment.

I'm not sure if that would have made a difference in this specific case, but it does send immediate deliveries for people who pay via e-check, for example.
