Hi, how would the upcoming General Data Protection Regulation that goes into effect in May affect buyers' personal data stored @ eJunkie? Is eJunkie in compliance with GDPR?

We only recently became aware of these new GDPR requirements, so Development is now working to build the tools we'll need to be ready for compliance before the deadline of May 25th. Development is currently working on tools for data-scrubbing compliance to be completed by the deadline. We're also working on finalizing the legalese to document our data-handling practices and policies to be posted to our site by the deadline.

I am so sorry about this B.S. from EU and thank you for working for us. I think all you need is a check box where the clients agree or not that we can keep their e-mail and name and addresses in case they want their products reactivated or not.If not they can't have their product reactivated or get the money back guarantee because we scrubbed the record.
I think you guys know better is just so frustrating for us too. Thank you for your hard work.

Hi E-Junkie Guru and all. I, too, am sad that this affects you and you only had short notice. I'm using SiteSell for my sites and they are also working on making this easier for us. In the forum there I see a link to a site that had a PDF that was helpful to my understanding and gives a list that you might find helpful.
