Is there a way to hide e-junkie.com address when the client is paying by credit card? I would like to show my domain only.
I posted about this elsewhere in this forum with more details about my concerns and how I would rather see it work.
Shivani says it's not possible to show the customers domain during checkout.
My issue is just that the work "junkie", at least here in the states, refers to a person who is a hard drug addict. Junkies are people who have a habit that oven requires them to get involved in criminal activity, like stealing things or money in order to support their habit.
Why can't e-junkie have some alternative domain names to use during the add-to-cart and checkout processes so that once software vendors do the hard work of getting the customer to that point of conversion, they don't get freaked out by the name of the site that they are about to handle their credit card info over to?
for example, www.ejsecure.com. Or something to that effect.
Aren't the technical difficulties in creating another domain that maps to the same site fairly small?
