Affiliate link test?

Hi I am trying to test the link to see if it is working? I just sent the link to someone testing for me and it's not showing up as a sale. do i have to wait till next month to see the sales for the month? how will I know if it's working?

btw, I am using my husband's sign on as a test for the link.

You will see any affiliate referral and commission details listed for the sale in your E-junkie Transaction Log when we process an affiliate-referred order for you.

Bear in mind our affiliate system only works as a built-in feature of our ecommerce platform, so it will only work for orders placed through E-junkie purchase buttons; it will not work as an add-on affiliate solution with any other purchase system.
