Journal notebooks

Colorful, durable grid notebooks perfect for sketching, ink, and light layers of mixed media. I especially enjoy using Woody 3-in-1 pencils, Neocolor IIs, and Stabilo All watersoluble pencil with a blender pen. I use these notebooks for creative journaling, note taking, joy keeping, creative to-do list-making, and quick collage art journaling.

Art classes, printable collage elements, & printable artwork

I’m a creative explorer and encourager, convinced that intuitive artistic expression is essential for mental health. I believe we all need our voices heard, even if only in the safe space of our art/poetry/written journals. Join me in contemplative online art classes to begin or deepen your own creative practice. Collect my printable collage elements and artist papers to spark your soul.

Visit my Kofi shop and Patreon shop for these options, including my classes As I Am: art journal affirmations for anxiety & depression, Your Soul Story, and more.

Digital magazine

The Phoenix Soul digital magazine was published from 2011-2018. All issues are 60 full-color pages each (instant PDF download), ad-free, spilling over with wildly colorful artwork, intimate interviews (including our signature Soul Rise Stories feature interview), revealing essays, gaspworthy poetry, soul-stirring prompts, and more.

Editor’s note (Amanda): Our magazine has been on hiatus since I shifted focus to building our collaborative blog and other methods of connection that I’m more able to maintain while also becoming a full-time stay-at-home mom. While our magazine issues cover timeless thoughts and creative explorations, I’ve grown tremendously since our last magazine publication date. You may encounter language in these issues I’d no longer use, including instances of naive cultural appropriation (such as the use of “tribe” before we switched to Soul Rise Stories). I apologize for this and any other unintentional harm caused by appropriation, ableism, or anything else I now understand better. While there is great good in these magazine pages, there are likely some outdated terms and thoughts. Please take the good and leave the rest behind. Thank you!
