E-junkie Cart: responsive improvements for mobile devices

We have now rolled out some responsive improvements to the way E-junkie Shopping Cart displays on mobile devices, such as tablets and smartphones. "Responsive" is a buzzword meaning the page layout adapts to fit different screen sizes, so these improvements will now allow the cart display to fit within the available width of any mobile device screen. Buyers should now only need to scroll vertically if necessary to view all elements of the cart, eliminating any previous need for less-intuitive horizontal scrolling.

Thanks for the post. On your sample, as well as a site I'm working with, the PayPal Express Checkout button goes to a version of the PayPal site that is not responsive. Do you have a plan for this or can you perhaps point me to a solution?

We don't have any direct control over the appearance of PayPal's checkout site, but we have found that our Buy Now buttons for PayPal will bring up their mobile-friendly checkout.



However, the PayPal checkout button in our shopping cart still brings up the standard PayPal checkout because PayPal has not yet made their mobile-optimized checkout compatible with their Tax/Shipping Recalculation feature, which is necessary to make sure tax/shipping charges are accurate for the actual shipping address buyers provide during checkout. We've inquired with them about when we can expect their mobile checkout to support that, but we haven't received word back yet; I've just now followed up with them to seek any updates to our earlier inquiry on this matter.
