I can't add an item to cart. It says "This product combination does not exist"

"This product combination does not exist"
This error usually happens for one of the following reasons:
- The Item Number in your purchase button does not match any current product in your Seller Admin, because you've either deleted the product or changed the product's Item Number setting without updating the button code in your page accordingly;
- The product uses Variations or Variants and has double-quotes in an Option Name and/or any Option Values -- we'd recommend using two apostrophes (
''
) instead of a double-quote ("
); - The product uses Variants affecting item SKU/price/weight/stock and either the Variants configuration is incorrect, or the buyer has selected a combination of Variant options that don't have a corresponding line in the product's Variants configuration.
How to fix it
Make sure you have not deleted the product and are using the latest button code from Seller Admin for your product.
If you pasted the Add to Cart button code into your sales page before customizing the product's Item Number in your Seller Admin, the original Item Number referenced in that old button code would no longer match the current Item Number in that product's settings. Whenever you change a product's Item Number, be sure to copy the latest button code for that product to paste into your site, or you can just edit your page's existing code to reference the new Item Number (the &i=XXXXXX
component of your button URL, where XXXXXX
should be the product's current Item Number).
If you are not using our full button code in your sales page but instead are only using a link-maker widget in your page editor or sending/posting a bare link URL, this help page explains how to obtain the correct link URL from the full button code we provide.
