Integrating E-junkie with on-demand media fulfillment services for CD/DVD discs, USB sticks, or printed books (Acutrack, Disk.com, TrepStar, Vervante)

You can integrate these services wtih E-junkie to have them automatically duplicate your product data to a CD/DVD/Blu-ray disc, USB stick, or printed book and mail that to buyers on-demand whenever an order comes in. This may be more efficient and customer-friendly than expecting buyers to manage a large file download -- e.g., a buyer with a typical 1.5 Mbps broadband line would take well over an hour to download a full CD's worth of data, and several times longer than that for a full DVD -- so why not offer at least the option of receiving a disc or USB flash stick by mail instead? You get to focus on content creation and sales while your media fulfillment service handles product production and delivery to the customer's door.

Also note that you may be able to use our Zapier integration as a middleman to integrate with any media fulfillment service not listed below.

Acutrack

Acutrack offers many options to produce and fulfill delivery of your content with Media On Demand (CD/DVD/Blu-ray disc or USB stick) for digital content and/or Print On Demand for hardcopy books and literature. Your product remains in stock without inventory, produced and shipped on-demand whenever your customers order.

First, register for an account with Acutrack CD/DVD fulfillment to get things set up at their end; then you can integrate E-junkie with them:
  1. Go to Seller Admin > Manage Seller Account > Edit Preferences;
  2. Under Webhook & Integrations enter the following in the Common Notification URL field:
    https://acuservices.acutrack.com/productions1/ejunkie.aspx
  3. Click Submit to apply changes.
Whenever you add/edit an Acutrack-fulfilled product in E-junkie Seller Admin:
  1. Tick the box to Require Buyer's Shipping Address at checkout;
  2. In the Item Number field, enter the item's ProductID from Acutrack;
  3. Press the Submit button to apply changes and reach the button codes screen;
  4. Use the E-junkie Cart or Buy Now button codes from this screen to start selling your product. If you were editing an existing product, use the new button code from this screen as it changes when you change the Item Number.
Disk.com
Corporate Disk Company (Disk.com) offers CD/DVD and USB/SD drive replication, printing and binding, media packaging, and on-demand fulfillment of shipping to your buyers. Once you obtain a quote and sign up with Disk.com, they will provide a URL for your E-junkie integration, which you can set up as follows:
  1. Go to Seller Admin > Manage Seller Account > Edit Preferences;
  2. Under Webhook & Integrations in the Common Notification URL field, please enter the integration URL that Disk.com provided to you.
  3. Click Submit to apply changes.
Whenever you add/edit a Disk.com-fulfilled product in E-junkie Seller Admin:
  1. Tick the box to Require Buyer's Shipping Address at checkout;
  2. In the Item Number field, enter the item's Part Number from Disk.com;
  3. Press the Submit button to apply changes and reach the button codes screen;
  4. Use the E-junkie Cart or Buy Now button codes from this screen to start selling your product. If you were editing an existing product, use the new button code from this screen as it changes when you change the Item Number.
TrepStar

TrepStar can fulfill on-demand duplication and shipping of CDs/DVDs and single USB flash drives in any quantity with no minimum order requirement. First, register for an account with TrepStar media fulfillment to get things set up at their end. Then, whenever you add or edit a CD/DVD product in your E-junkie Seller Admin:

  1. Tick the box to Require Buyer's Shipping Address at checkout;
  2. Associate your product's Item Number with a TrepStar Project ID. There are two ways about this:
    When adding a new product in E-junkie
    Set your E-junkie Item Number to match the TrepStar Project ID:
    1. Log into TrepStar.com;
    2. The Project ID is listed with your project title where your products are listed;
    3. Write down or copy the Project ID.
    4. Type or paste that TrepStar Project ID into the E-junkie Item Number field.
    When editing an existing product in E-junkie
    You can follow the method above, but since E-junkie button code references the Item Number, you would need to obtain new E-junkie button code to replace any existing E-junkie purchase button(s) for the product in your site.
    Preferred Method: Edit your TrepStar project settings to reference the existing E-junkie Item Number, so you won't have to replace the purchase button on your site:
    1. Write down or copy your E-junkie Item Number;
    2. Log into TrepStar.com;
    3. Edit your TrepStar Project associated with this product;
    4. Scroll to the bottom of the edit page to the Optional Advanced Variables section;
    5. Type or paste your E-junkie Item Number into the eCommerce ID String field;
    6. Save the TrepStar Project.
  3. Tick the box for Webhook Integration;
  4. This will reveal the Product Notification URL field, where you should enter the following:
    https://www.trepstar.com/eJunkieGateway.asp?TSmode=test&TSPub=
    • TSmode= can be either test or prod which tells TrepStar whether to actually fulfill the order or not:
      • TSmode=test means nothing will be made, and the TrepStar publisher will not be billed, yet order data still flows into the TrepStar system;
      • When testing is complete, change this to TSmode=prod to have TrepStar actually make and ship the product.
    • TSPub= should be followed by your TrepStar Publisher ID, normally a 5 digit number like 25640 (you can find your Publisher ID by logging into trepstar.com).
  5. Click Submit to apply changes and reach the button codes screen;
  6. Use the E-junkie Cart or Buy Now button codes from this screen to start selling your product.
    NOTE: If you were editing an existing product and changed the Item Number to match the TrepStar Project ID, use the new button code from this screen on your site, as the code changes when you change the Item Number.
Vervante

Vervante provides print-on-demand services for producing and shipping physical books and other printed materials, as well as CD/DVD disc duplication, tangible item fulfillment, and kit assembly incorporating any/all of those items. Here's how to have E-junkie notify Vervante when an order comes in, so they can automatically produce and fulfill the order for you.

First, register for an account with Vervante to get things set up at their end; then you can integrate E-junkie with them:
  1. Go to Seller Admin > Manage Seller Account > Edit Preferences;
  2. Under Webhook & Integrations enter the following in the Common Notification URL field:
    https://www.e-junkie.com/ecom/o_plug.php?&m_emails=myorders@vervante.com
  3. Click Submit to apply changes.
Then, whenever you add or edit a product in your E-junkie Seller Admin that you want Vervante to fulfill:
  1. Check Shipping & Buyer's Address to collect the buyer's address at checkout;
  2. In the Item Number field, enter the product's Vervante Part Number;
  3. Press the Submit button to apply changes and reach the button codes screen;
  4. Use the E-junkie Cart or Buy Now button codes from this screen to start selling your product.
    NOTE: If you were editing an existing product, use the new button code from this screen as it changes when you change the Item Number.
