How does sales tax and VAT calculation work for E-junkie cart?

1. Go to Admin > Edit E-junkie Cart Settings. Specify the country from where you will be selling your products from. If you are selling from U.S., you will need to enter the zipcode too.
   
   
2. If you want to charge VAT, check the "VAT" checkbox. E.U. buyers will be charged the prevailing VAT rate in their country if you are a U.S. merchant. If you are a E.U. merchant, your countries prevailing VAT rate will be charged to the buyer.
   
   
3. If you want to charge sales tax, enter the tax rate. Sales tax will be charged based on the location you select.
   
   
4. While adding or editing a product, check the "Tax" option if you want to charge sales tax or VAT on it.
